English grammar isn’t always fun—so why not combine it with some exercise and a bit of competition? In the gym?
In English Plus, the pupils of class 4b worked together in
two groups. While one group was trying to make six baskets as quickly as
possible, the other group was busy collecting as many English nouns as they
could think of. And they all knew a lot!
For the next activity—a comparative running dictation—they
paired up. The “runner” dictated facts about countries, rivers, and buildings
to the “writer.” In the next step, they compared the facts to create true or
false comparative sentences.
All in all, it was a fun and active grammar lesson that once
again showed class 4b’s enthusiasm for movement and competition. Bravo!
